Default Question for ebayers, the rest can skip it

Posted By: TBob

Has anyone used the "contact a member" feature on ebay lately? I have been trying to get a contact phone number for a guy I won an item from and I have clicked that darn ebay link after filling in his id and the auction number 4 times and 4 times it has said I would be getting it shortly and 4 times nada, zero, zilch. I wonder if being on AOL has anything to do with it. Very aggravting to say the least, especially when you try to email the seller to tell him you PayPaled him the money and everyone of your emails comes back MAILER-DAEMON.

from one of the other auctions you're bidding on (from a different seller). See if that information comes back. That'll tell you whether your problem is on your end or the receiver's end.

whom I had had dealings with on ebay--absolutely no luck. As here, someone suggested I e-mail others who
had dealt with him recently. I picked three, said I needed to get in touch with him but a name and address would be fine; got one "I've forgotten," and two No Answers.

I didn't need merchandise or money, so at the time I thought it was a good thing that ebay protected their sellers and buyers from clods like me who were poking around after names and addresses; but I would think
that "Safe Harbor" ought to supply the information if
you had sent money and were waiting for goods.
