Default Help with posting from Photobucket

Hi all. Leon said it was ok to ask the question here. I am trying to post scans from photobucket to the B/S/T and am having to success. I've tried everything I know how to no avail. Can someone give me some pointers on how to do this?
I appreciate it and thanks in advance,
Tony

Pretty easy. Once the photo is uploaded just click on the photo and to the right of the photo should be a box with multiple links, Links to share this photo. Now in that box you have multiple links. Email, Direct, HTML, and IMG. To post photos in a thread just click and copy the IMG link then place it in the thread. And sure enough there is your photo. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions lmk

Seems easy enough but it won't work for me. I copy the IMG file and then go to manage attachments and paste it into the box where it says upload file from URL and it comes up with invalid file every time. I also tried Leon's yellow box with mountains idea and all I get is a black box with an x in it in the post.
What am I doing wrong?????

I believe you don't add it to one of the pop-ups (the mountain or the attachment), you just paste the link into the thread.

Go to photobucket, click on the pic to upload and on the right hand side, copy the IMG URL and then paste it right into this box.
