Default Another eBay question

First, I want to say thank you to everyone for all the help you've given me so far. I've been a member of a few different forums (mostly poker related) and everyone here has been way more inviting to a newbie than I am used to. So, thank you.
Here's my question: When I click on an eBay auction that has ended, whether it be one that I won, or one that I just want to examine, I am re-directed to a page of "Recommendations for You". Is there any way to disable this so I can peruse old auctions to help me value current ones?

Thanks,
Luke

you can use the search feature and down the left side of the screen there is a box to check off to search for completed listings which shows the final sell prices for your search. On vintage , there may not be much history.

If you cant find anything on ebay, you can ask on here, there are other sources for recent sales.

Scrolling down doesn't work? They put the listing below the ads on completed auctions.

If I understand the question correctly, there is no way to remove these recommendations...which is not surprising since it would not be in eBay's interest to allow a user to do so. I spent a few minutes trying to accomplish the same thing when I was compiling my own VCP-type data...I've since abandoned that effort as I'm now buying and selling a much broader range of cards.

They actually recommended a card for me that I had listed for sale. I can't say that I'm really interested in buying a card from myself that I already own and am trying to sell, but that's eBay logic for you.

That's an interesting business model. After a while the fees will eat you up, but the feedback would be good! (Maybe.)

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think to try scrolling down. Thank you for that suggestion. I guess this is why when you call customer support for some product you bought, their first question is always, "Is it plugged in?"
