Glad I read it. Now if the set was still referred to as 521 in 1945, do we know the year, or even the precise date, when Burdick renamed it T206?

Is this a joke? Look at the date!
Really cool item, thanks for posting. So, what 3 cards do you suppose weren't being counted? I'd say probably Doyle and Magie, not sure about the 3rd one. Did they not know about Wagner of Plank back then? |

5i4 = t3?
Leon, Thanks for sharing
At the bottom it refers to Doolan misspelled as Doolin in the Extra Large #5I4 Cards. Doolan is misspelled as Doolin in the T3 Turkey Red. So does 5I4 = T3? Best Regards, Craig

15lbs for $1.65...OH my GOD!
What kind of fool would buy that Leon you and I both know we've been getting 15lbs bags for the $1.07 range for years now. Cheers, John |

I wonder if the old copper coins he hoarded were large cents?
I also found it interesting that even way back when collectors figured out that by buying large groups they could not only complete sets but also upgrade their cards and sell off the duplicates. That hasn't changed and never will. |

Couldn't coffee cards have been Voskamps?

Good one Barry. I don't know much about the issue, but were they including cards with their product prior to Uncle Jake's passing in 1901?
Love these letters, they are just awesome !!! Sincerely, Clayton |

Better point Clayton. I guess Uncle Jake didn't have any Voskamps.
