2011 Standard Catalog pre-order at $29.69
The 2011 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards is now on press.
You may have seen in the Sept. 17 issue of SCD that the book has dropped the ride-along CD and the page count bumped back up to 1,800+. Most of those pages are the result of putting back in the 2001-dates cards that were on last year's CD. At this point I don't know how many of the dozens of vintage major league and minor league sets, checklist additions, etc. that I submitted have been added. Thousands of prices were changed in the vintage sections. The book is now available at a pre-order price of $29.69 (cover price is $44.99), from www.sportscollectorsdigest.com/shop Once I get a copy in hand, I'll try to summarize the additions, etc.

I put in for an advance copy in Baltimore
I think it was a percent off and no shipping. I always loved going to B&N and purchasing the book --- but that was too easy
