Default Wanting to identify a Brooklyn Dodgers jersey

I have this jersey and want to know when it was made and by what company, however the tag is missing. I have a picture of the tag remnants. You can see the edge of the tag left behind and how it was sewn on. It doesn't seem to be Mitchell Ness. It is made of wool felt. I am grateful for your help.

Empire Sporting Goods has been around for almost 100 years.

They used to sell those in the Cosby sporting goods store in Madison Square Garden and through mail order back in the 1980's. There was a NY Giants, Phillies, Braves, etc. They looked close to, but not exactly like ones from the 1940's. Sometimes I see auction houses trying to sell them as originals. Since they have been around for more than 20 years they will have some honest age on them and can be passed off as souvenir jerseys, sometimes mistakenly, sometimes dishonestly.

Here's an 1988 ad from a retailer called American Sports Collectibles. You can see the variety that was made. At $42.95, they weren't cheap.

Default What's it worth?

Thanks for the help identifying the jersey. It does seem to be in fact a jersey made by "Empire". I found actual "sold" prices on this jersey from between $25-$200. Strange. What do you think the fair value should be as I am not a Brooklyn collector and want to sell it to someone who is.
