Thanks for the thanks, guys! As far as how you get a ride, just sign up for 20 years of servitude - they'll give you all the rides you need, generally in places you don't want to be!

When you sit down to Christmas dinner this year, remember to say a quick prayer for our deployed folks - we have a lot of guys and gals spending the holidays in a tent a long way from their families.

Take Care,
Geno

Fred,

Great photo! We've been pretty fortunate so far this winter, but nothing as glassy and pumping as that! The water temp is spring-suit cool around here, and surprisingly even though it's not as cold as you mentioned in CA it still keeps the crowds pretty minimal. Although it could also be the fact that red tide has been plaguing our coast for 5 weeks or more now. Pretty rough, but I deal with it.

Good Waves > Respiratory Problems

Unfortunately when I think about surfing CA, Great Whites come to mind, that latest attack in Monterey (Todd Endris) was pretty gruesome, huh?! Then in HI you have your Tigers... surprisingly the county I surf in has more shark attacks annually than anywhere else in the world, but none have been fatal.

Is it just me, or does everyone on this board have great looking families?

Enjoy them over the holidays!

Dan- in the early episodes Seinfeld did wear colorful shirts-all four of them did- but not in the later ones.

That is one of my own discoveries- the lack of colorful outfits as the seasons progressed. You can distinguish early and late episodes just by their shirt colors!

Me and the kids at the zoo this fall. It's obviously hard to avoid cutting off a giraffe's head when framing a shot.

Trae,

I like the red tide, I look forward to it when it appears. It's great to get in the water in the early AM before the sun comes up and in the evening when the sun is down. The bioluminance is brilliant and it's just so cool to see it. Also, lots of dolphins in the H20 on clean clear days. We'll see pods of 10+ within 20 yards of the lineup.

I used to work for a company that made gold records for the music industry. I custom made this for my favorite player and presented it to him in 1989. About five years ago his agent mentioned that it still hangs in Yaz's house.

I moved to Hong Kong over the summer, right around the time I decided to take on the monster. I know, my timing is impeccable. So now I spend all my time outside the office reading your guys' info on the board, checking out ebay, and playing cards of course. Who am I kidding? I do the same thing even when I'm in the office.

"Jim,

In the past, didn't you have a picture of you making a deal with the Dalai Lama for an N173 Anson?"

That was a photoshop job by one of the other members here. He replaced the translation I was handing the Dalai Lama that I had done for him with the N173 Anson.

Judson- lol. Funny you mention being a public defender because I gave my 90 days notice and resigned three weeks ago and I am going back to private practice after many years. Starting up again after such a long time makes you a bit apprehensive but life is an adventure, isn't it, and I am ready for a new challenge. It will be nice to be able to represent only those clients you want to represent, as anyone knows who has been in my moccasins
So, as I get ready to buy office equipment and all that start-up expense, I'll take another look at a peaceful summer with a bunch of my buddies at national and post their pictures here since they haven't done so yet:

ya takes your chances. Hope showing my mug doesn't bring out anyone looking for me to avenge some real or imagined wrongs . From just before I retired in 1998. After looking at my pic and confronting diabetes I lost 51 pounds in the past 9 months. I'm buff now so don't F* with me.

Bob (tbob)- Good luck with private practice. Most of our local defense guys (who are mostly former prosecutors really enjoy their practice and enjoy the $$. Not Jeff Lichtman money (hi, Jeff), mind you, but good none the less.

Dat's why I posted it...... Despite the bravado - I look more like you than I do him. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I prefer my new icon - the Old Planter from Ginter over my previous one - which was a muscle pose of Sandow to go with the monocur. Too many homophobic comments. Interesting site on the father of modern bodybuilding @ sandowmuseum.com. Perhaps a few too many male body beutiful pix for me but some nice historical information.

Sorry to tarnish the GQesque thread. We're both older than we look. Taken a couple months ago in a cheapo photo booth at the mall. (We can't afford to go anywhere exotic!)
P.S. Still looking for Uncle Rube, T210 Eldridge, Greensboro, Series 5; and for neighbor Mr. Weisner to post here. Maybe after the Heels game tonight.

I don't think Denny's an ET at least that symbol wasn't ET when I was in (1961-1964). It's a nuke rating of some kind.

Glad to see those hashmarks are gold and not red. BZ Denny.

And I agree, Life is definitely grand.
