Default Merry Christmas to Everyone!

Don't have any sports related items but couldn't resist showing my Granddaughter as lead singer with Charlie Brown and his Gang.

Default From the Casey Stengel Estate...

The Old Professor's Transistor Radio (in working condition) with Leather Case. Christmas Gift from the Yankees for 1957. I guess Topping & Webb took the loss to the Braves pretty hard...

This one is pretty good too--it's a Christmas card from Mel Ott to Bobby Thomson, making fun of Thomson's 1947 stolen base total of one. Take a wild guess at how many bases he stole in 1948...

I looked it up, he stole two. Pretty funny. But in 1949, he was a veritable speed demon with ten!

I have around 50 Christmas cards by MLBers. Here are a couple highlights.

Tris Speaker

Rogers Hornsby

Mickey Mantle

Waite Hoyt - This one is unique because Waite painted the artwork himself

Default Dressen Xmas Card

I like the Giant Mr & Mrs Dressen with pooch from 1963-1966. Why didn't Ruth & Gehrig make christmas cards like this?
