Indeed, that was an amazing feat!

Default World Series PERFECT game

I saw Don Larsen's perfect game in Oct 8th 1956.

[linked image]

Only 97 pitches....and, Pee Wee Reese was the only Dodger to work the count to 3 Balls.

Mickey Mantle's unbelievable running catch in deep left-center field in front of the Monuments off Gil Hodges' bat saved the day.

Mantle hit a HR to score what was the only Run needed to win the game.

Also, Sal Maglie pitched a heck of a game for the Dodgers.

As a Mets die hard fan I unfotunately have never seen one that I cared about. Too many 1 hitters for me the one that stands out is Bobby Jones in the playoffs in 2000. In 1969 I was fortunate to Tom Seaver pitch his on TV. It just shows that Halliday will go down as one of the all time greats. CN

I saw Terry Mulholland's 1990 no-hitter in person. Unfortunately, I removed my ticket stub from its usual place among all my other ticket stubs to "put it in a good place," and it's now in the "where are they now category". D'ohh!

On TV, watching live, I've seen several:
- Halladay's last night
- Halladay's perfect game this year
- Kevin Millwood's in 2003
- the Friday night ESPN doubleheader no-hitter in 1990 (Dave Stewart first, then Fernando Valenzuela in the nightcap)
- Bob Forsch against the Phillies in 1978

I saw Nolan Ryan's no-hitter at Tiger Stadium . He had 17 strikeouts (I think). One of the greatest performances ever.

I was at Kenny Rogers perfect game in 1994. My wife was ready to go, because there wasn't enough action! I explained what was happening and she agreed to stay.

Default I saw a rain-shortened no-hitter...

In 1988, Pascual Pérez pitched a rain-shortened five inning no-hitter while playing for the Montreal Expos.

Against the Phillies.
