Default Birmingham-Russell Sports Auction-Congrats

Hello to ALL! As you may see this is only my second post on this forum as well as site. I would first like to thank Leon again for his assistance in my registration as well as everyone on the site that welcomed me when I registered. Even though instead of TobaccoGreyhound I probably should go under the User Name as " Lurker " as I seem to be on the site reading, learning and finally ENJOYING the wealth of information that is shared here. It is really a massive group of FRIENDSHIP! That being said.....I am hoping that it won't take another 8 months again to post here. I am honestly hoping to someday take some time to navigate around the Buy-Sell-Trade forum as I have numerous Graded T206 and 1933 Goudey baseball cards. That will be another day. For today I would like to say Congrats and a Auction well done yesterday by Dave Birmingham and Scott Russell.

Yesterday was the first time I met Dave and Scott as well as the first time I attended their auction. For added information.....for me it was close to a 2 Hour Drive but I am very happy I did. The auction had something for everyone from 1934 Goudey's and 1941 Play Ball Baseball Cards to a 1953 Bowman Mickey Mantle. Many, many other interesting cards and sports memorabilia.......Football collectors could find a Johnny Unitas RC, Reggie White USFL RC and a few John Elway RC's. If you were a Vintage Basketball collector....a 1972 Topps Dr J Julius Erving RC. It would take a full day to mention what could have been bid on so I will try to not take up your day with the entire auction list.

Some of the added enjoyment was that they had door prizes for everyone who was present at the end of the auction and I actually WON some 1957 Silver Dollar Certificates. PLUS....Scott Russell at the end took whatever cards or autographed items that you wanted and will be submitting them to SGC for Grading and Authentication. IF any card comes back Trimmed, Not Authentic....if any Autograph is not Authentic when looked at by SGC...Dave and Scott are going to offer a FULL REFUND of your purchase. They also had great breakfast and lunch food at the auction.

In ending......again....I appreciate your time reading my post and wanted to take a few moments to congratulate Dave Birmingham and Scott Russell on their auction yesterday. If anyone is in the area.......or like myself within a few hour drive it will be well worth attending their next auction.

Have a Great Day!

I'm honored that you violated your lurker status! Seriously it was great meeting you and I'm glad you had such a good time. Look forward to seeing in you in Parsippany!
