Kelly,

I don't have anything for trade, but thought you might like seeing some stuff as I collect both beer and red sox. Contact me at gstheberge@yahoo.com if you like. I have a website too at

OK, it's a Yankee piece, but I let it slide since it's DiMaggio

Kelly:

I have a nice Cincinnati Reds Piece that I could sell or possibly trade. It is a Burger Beer Advertising Sign from the 40s/50s. Seldom-seen item... I have not encountered another in nearly 20 years of collecting this stuff.

Please see picture below, and email or let me know if you are interested...

Thanks,
Mark

Chuck,

I'm not sure who you were addressing, but I have never seen a vintage piece of beer advertising with soccer involved. Probably has to do with soccer not being an exceptionally popular sport in this country until recently (and I use "popular" very loosely here). Maybe there is more overseas, I don't know. I USED to follow MLS fairly heavily a few years back - was actually a season ticket holder for the New England Revolution - hence my NEREVS ebay I.D. - but then I completely lost all interest.

Greg
