Default How is your T206 set going?

I thought it would be cool to talk about how our T206 collections are going. Pictures are definitely welcomed!
Seems like there are a lot of people with high monster numbers.. let's hear about your progress!

This has been the 3rd attempt of me putting together a T206 collection.
I might down the road go for the southern leaguers and minor leaguers, but I've decided at this point to shoot for the 390 major leaguers (But, no plank or wagner) Since this is the 3rd attempt and I always keep coming back, this time, I am pretty sure I won't be starting all over again.

I was buying some graded cards here and there, but I've decided to crack them and display in a binder and filling in the spots as I go. I really like how this is coming together.

Currently, I am at 166 cards.

Here are some of my key cards in their spots in the binder; empty spots will be filled as I go!

I keep the majority of my set in binders just like yours. I only have the best players and rare backs graded. Sorry I don't have any pictures.

Default Binders

In the UK there are very few graded cards compared to the US. Most collectors over here use binders as I do. I always use a black interleaf page which are easy to obtain from a hobby shop or similar. The effect is really good, similar in fact to having a SGC holder rather than a PSA. My T206 count is 41 and is slow progress as I collect just about anything and everything sport and non sport.

Thanks for posting. Good to hear that others are storing their set in binders. I find the colors look amazing when a page starts to fill up!

Default T206 set

I have the the set “complete” to 521. Only about 30 cards are graded so the rest are in a binder. I wholeheartedly agree this is the best way to display the set.

Currently working to transition all backs from common to uncommon. Most of the HOF are done and about halfway done on the commons.

Even as I start other projects, all roads lead back to T206s for me. Even it’s buying HOF dups.

Jay, for the graded cards, do you leave that spot blank in the binder? I heard some people put a scan or reprint there?

My binder is organized by back right now so that's not an issue at the moment. If I alphabetize which I am thinking about doing, I'd probably stick a scan in there.
