Devil's advocate here. Card was bought by a ridiculously optimistic flipper?

Different card. Check cert number. When PWCC has two cards with the same grade, they may put the second card at the end of their auctions in a Round 2 category.

Yes. It seems ridiculous optimism is standard among flippers these days.

How do we know that the buyer wasn't shilling the card and accidentally bought it? I am just saying I have seen too many to make me comfortable. Obviously in light of our recent threads - PWCC has a lot of 'splaining to do'

The most recent example is the E95 Cobb in PSA 5. (I don't think outing a PWCC auction is frowned upon - we all look at them). That card just 'sold' earlier this month and is now back up for sale. Just saying.
I would think that before coming here and making accusations you would get your information correct. These are two different cards.

Also, per forum rules, when giving opinions you need to include your name.

+2 (although I just fixed the latter issue)

There may be circumstances where the winning bidder didn't pay even where it's the same cert.

What bothers me is when I see a major card that "sold" in one AH for a very robust price back within a short time period in another AH. That makes me suspect that the first "sale" was artificial.

HOLY CRAP. I swear I checked the cert. I am sorry. I retract. I woke up early this am and must be out of it. I am sorry. (sorry Leon and PWCC). I guess all this recent talk put me in a bad mood. My bad.

Thank God this was just a false alarm. I couldn't take another 700+ post thread.

When I was selling a large collection I purchased in the winter of 2014-2015 I consigned a number of vintage cards (around 200 or so) with PWCC and overall was very happy with the results. I did not keep track of all of the cards that I sold through them after I sold them, but there was one of mine that did pop up on a couple of different occasions.

Mine sold in May of 2015 for $283 Here is the link

https://www.pwccauctions.com/item.php?item_no=1110706

The exact same card sold again in July for $360...I remember wishing I would have gotten $360 for my sale....so I don't know if someone did not pay for it or what...but alas same card

https://www.pwccauctions.com/item.php?item_no=1147491

Then this exact same card sold yet again in September of 2015...this time for $290

https://www.pwccauctions.com/item.php?item_no=1155809

They did dress up the description a bit from when I was the owner in the later two sales...but no clue who sold it the next 2 times in the following months. My suspicion is someone did not pay for it at least one time, but that would be odd to happen twice in back to back sales.

Nah, its reasonable to expect to make $7,500 on a $50k card bought at a public auction and then re-sell it in a couple of months at another public auction to make that $7,500 profit (even after factoring in buyers premium or sellers premium) and if not to be completely shocked.
