Vintage leather football helmet help
Hi:
Can anyone provide any additional information about these four vintage leather football helmets I recently acquired? I think they might be from the 20s or 30s but can't say for sure. College? Pro? Two of the helmets have Rawlings tags on the interior while the other two have no manufacturer labels. All show heavy use and have been repainted a couple of times. Thanks so much for your help! Rob

no help but
I can't offer anymore info on them but they remind me of the hard hats we wore in the Marine Corps approximately 30 yrs ago. They weren't very comfortable.
