Scanning problem

Hi All,

I have a persistent problem when I scan slabbed cards. It happens about 75% of the time, and seems worse with Beckett slabs.

The problem is a reflection on the image caused by the camera flash within the scanner.

Has anyone else had this prob, and even if you haven't, can anyone suggest a solution.

There is a light in the scanner but, as far as Ive ever seen, it does not flash like on a camera. It should not be causing a problem whether the card is slabbed or not.

What type of scanner do you have and how old is it?
