Default An honest mistake and someone will get burnt...

I hate seeing these really poor reproduction sheets being sold by good sellers as authentic... To all of our members, please stay away unless you want a fake....

Gotta love the "8x11"". I would bet that it is 8.5x11" - exactly the size of cut sheet paper. It's too bad that comments cannot be displayed on sellers images like you can on a blog. That would help bring awareness to the garbage that is listed incorrectly.

I've exchanged eBay messages with the seller, I think he'll take it down.

Looks like the seller took it down and wrote this

Quote:
Baseball Card experts... Someone wrote and brought to my attention that this could be a reprint. Can someone please help me validate this since I'm not a card dealer and got it at an antique auction?

If it is a reprint, I'll have to pull the listing because I don't want to misrepresent. I just want to be sure first.

Hoping someone can help me know how to tell if reprint.
Could also tell me how you could tell it was a fake? I'm trying to educated myself more.

Kudos to the seller. I knew he was good.
Some of the poor fakes have very grainy photos on them, as the ebay sheet does. The real ones are much more crisp. When you have seen quite a few it is very easy to tell. Here are a few cards that are real and that sheet should have the same crispness to the photos on the cards...although these 2 have a bit crisper photos than even the normal ones, you can easily see the relative differences...

The seller did seem to be a sincere, straight fellow. A good guy. I think it's a husband / wife team.

And, Hi Dan.
