Cool 1944 MLB Pacific signatures

Today my mother presented me with a $2 bill she found among my deceased father's papers.. He had told her of a signed bill his Dad had given him, but she'd never seen it. It has Joe DiMaggio's and other signatures, on both sides. It is a 1928 $2 bill, and the signatures on it are by Joe DiMaggio, Walter Judnich, Mike McCormick, Bob Dillinger, Rudder Ardizoia, Joe Gordon and Jerry Priddy. I did a little research and it seems they all played in Honolulu during wwii. Can anyone shed any more info on this for me, and guide me with advice for getting it authenticated?

That's a short snorter. They are really cool, especially when you have notes from different countries taped together.
Even more impressive, is its connection to baseball. witster

Default Thank you

That's interesting. Thank you. Now I need to figure out how to go about selling it to someone who loves baseball history!
