Default Looking for Marinho autograph

With the beginning of the World Cup in Brazil, it reminided me that I had never gotten the signature of Marinho while he played in the old NASL with Cosmos and Ft. Lauderdale. I started to look for an address and to my suprise discovered he passed away from what doctors called a "digestive hemmorrage on this past May 31. At the time of his death, he was my age, 62. According to the newspaper reports, the death was the result of alcoholism and diseases related to drinking.

I grew up in Chicago and met many of the world's elite players in their career closing years as they played in the early NASL. From Banks and Beckenbauer and Best, to Muller, Granitza and Chinaglia. Never encountered Marinho, even though a godd friend's cousin played with Strikers.

I'm hoping a Strikers or Cosmos fan out ther has an extra laying around after all these years. I think I may have an extra Best and certainly have some duplicates of the guys that played for Chicago to trade. Will also buy a Marinho if you have one

Default still looking ...

I'm appealing to all of you football/soccer collectors to help me out if you have an extra. I don't need a single singed photo (but that's what I'd really like). If you have a Cosmos team sheet look for his signature among his mates and if you have more than one, consider parting with it. He is one of the few major foreign stars that I never got to sign for me during the time of the NASL. Please help if you can
