Default Brockelman & Luckey Ends tonight

In the event any board members are not already registered and/or aware it, our Fall 2012 Auction ends tonight. Initial bidding ends at 10:00 EST with the lots closing individually after 30 minutes of no bids. As always you do not have to bid on a lot prior to the initial bidding to bid in the extended period. With the lots ending individually we do not want, nor expect this auction to go into the daylight hours of the next morning as so many have of late.

There is still time to register, get approved and bid should anyone want to.

Please click the link below and it will take you to the auction, the registration button is at the top of the page.

Scott & Leon

I finally registered so I could bid on some items. Since i'm new to the bidding terms, maybe someone could explain a few things. I understand the 10 percent increments but wanted to know how that works when using a max bid. Say I put a bid on an item with an opening bid of $100 and my max bid is $161 and someone else bids $133. Does it increase my bid only 10 percent over the $133 bid or does it show me as highest bidder at $133? The reason I ask is I put a bid on an item at $198 but was outbid and the high bidder won the auction at the same $198 price. I was thinking maybe they had bid a max of $198 and since their bid was before mine, theirs won. Just wanted to know for future bids. Thanks.

Ron,

The other bidder would have had a higher max bid already in place or at the very least a bid of $198 and already occupied that bidding slot.
