Well, I keep seeing other cards that I like, but I can't stop buying these! My number is now 19 with the purchase of a low grade Overall, Summers, and Stone (No Hands). Still not a big # and not high grade, but these are addictive. I collected postwar forever, but I am as happy with these as I was any NM 7 from the 60s.

Default Krak me up one

+ 1 for my Kraken number.
I was able to stop mulling over when to add Mullin to the collection.

Its getting harder towards the end here, boys....I have 98 different cards for a Kraken total of 151 (QC needed...Brian P)

Only 8 more single pointers remain. After that...tough cards to find and buy.

But I'm not giving in to an oversized plate of calamari.
Who's got a Duffy or Walsh to sell?

Great cards so far. From watching the hobby for many years, we all know the last E90-1s can be really, really difficult.

Well I follow this thread but never contributed. Wanted to join when I busted a score of 100 which I just recently did. But I’ve made a big purchase (let’s use the number 521 ) and these guys are gonna have to go.

But still, wanted to share a pic of them as of this morning.

76 cards that would have scored a 104. Donovan is in the mail heading my way.

Fun group, with interesting nuance.

Great pic Jeff. I see a few I'd be interested in. Are they headed to the BST or elsewhere?

Will probably keep it close within the BST and some Facebook group pages. Need to go through and scan them all.

Have always enjoyed this thread!

Nice group shot! You posted before their departure...that counts for me. An E-Monster number of 105 will be noted for posterity.

Thanks to the great Thromdog sell-off of 2019, please bump me up to 165 to reflect adding the Clarke-Pittsburgh and Keeler-red portrait cards. 11 to go but...

Been a little while since I added a card but I can be slightly bumped up to 99 with Keeler throwing.

Nice card. I love the pose on this one, and your example just screams "I'M OLD"! One more common and its 3 digits for you.

Hey Brian,

Please add three to my total, now at 22, with the additions of Unglaub, O'Connor and Fromme.

Thanks a lot

Duffy was a toughie.
But now he's in the fold.

I missed Jeff's sale or I may have acquired a few more Kraken points.
But with this squid, patience is prudent.

Please edit my score as your time will allow, Mr. P.

Very true. The E-Squid does not tolerate impatience. Congrats on the pickups Brian (my collection still remains Duffy-less) and Andy (O'Conner is a key 1 pointer).

All of this talk about Duffy made me work a deal for this one that had been on eBay for some time. Comparing it with others that have sold, I got it for a fair price. Trimmed on bottom but I'll take it. Bump to 106 requested!

Haha, man, I passed on that card so many times. Seemed like it was there forever. I just didn't see another and figured I better grab it before someone else did.

Anson, your Crawford and Lajoie (nice pickups!) have an equal amount of card missing, just in the Crawford it is concentrated in one area. 110 it is...

Picked up the O'Connor and Young-Boston. Still need Jackson, Keeler-Throwing, both Wagners and Young-Cleveland. Hope to knock one more off the list by the end of the year.

You turn your back on the Kraken for just a brief amount of time and look what happens...a newbie (welcome aboard C-mack) and 3 updates.

The Kraken feels lonely, but its a good day for this Knight as he scanned so bright.

Brian, I was going to wait for a more substantial update but I can't stand to see the Kraken in agony. A few minor pickups lately for me, including this Vic Willis, get me to 121.

Three somewhat tougher cards in the past few days with Graham, Seigle, and Bescher for an 8-point bump to 129. Graham is laminated but with that card, you take what you can get.

Is this Speaker the same one that just sold via PWCC in raw form? It looks very similar.
Tedzan’s post from 2017. Ted if you’re still around would you confirm?

I always liked the look of Graham, and since your card is laminated, you will get to enjoy that look forever. Everybody should be laminating their E90-1 cards immediately!

Only a one-card addition here but it's a tough one in the Dots Miller sunset variation. Would love to know where these are all hiding. I may have missed one or two but I've seen only one for sale in more than a year. I've had a very tough time finding one.

Up to 132 now and my goal of getting to 100 cards by the end of the year now seems reasonable.

Default Drought is over

The Kraken at my house was dried up for a few months. The Kraken tricks and lulls one to sleep, it’s part of the evil.

But it has taken on water today...OBC Secret Santa Andy H. (Cobbspikedme) mailed a VERY generous Art Fromme for the holidays.
It’s a plus one for my Kraken number but it’s a multiple thumbs up for a great guy!
Thanks Andy!

I’m going harder after this Kraken Monster in 2020 based on this inspiration!

I picked up the lot in the recent Lelands auction. It had the Keeler-throwing, leaving me needing Jackson, both Wagners and Young-Cleveland. I have almost 100 duplicates and hope to upload my updated website over the weekend. Will offer a discount to my fellow Krakenites. Stay tuned...

Ed, looking forward to seeing what dupes you might have!

And, Brian, for my overall Kraken number, please bump to 137 when time permits. Got this Cobb in the recent REA auction.
