Default Japanese card question

Does anyone know how to determine the year of vintage Japanese cards?

Post some pics.

I can see if Robert at prestigejapanbb on Twitter will answer. He also has a YouTube channel and website

He always has a large booth of vintage Japanese baseball cards at his booth at the National

Gary Engel has a guide for vintage Japanese cards available here.
https://www.prestigecollectibles.com/vintageguide.aspx

If you post some images or send me a message I can take a look too.

FWIW, these are 30 of the best hobby dollars I ever spent. A must have even if you only dabble in Japanese stuff.

Totally agree the guide is a must.
But also if you share a pic (especially the back), we can probably get you the right info.

I agree with the above, Engel’s guide is an indispensable resource.

These days, Google Translate is quite a blessing. But it does get to the point that you can start to sight read common names (or syllables) and team names.
