Default '52 Mantle help

hello, I am new here, I just picked up some mantle cards at auction. I know there are plenty of counterfeits and I am planning on sending this card in to PSA but wanted your opinion. It has all the signs of being legit except no missing blue pixel

Thank you

Thank you, the reason I asked is because there is no mention here when addressing the variations

There used to be a comprehensive guide online but it has disappeared. Variation B definitely has a missing pixel.

Top left corner looks artificially aged.

Default Yankee

Hope for your sake it is real, but at first blush it looks like it might be a reproduction. Just look at the differences in the Yankee logos:

Those are the 2 different types, Type 1 and 2.
Here's a type 2 to compare it to.

Probably a counterfeit. Use your light source on some other gray stock 52T and compare. Authentic 52Ts are opaque when using a bright white light so no front image is seen from the back - I'd expect the same with black but have never tested.

It does not have the missing pixel. Game set match IMO for a variation B.

If you can see thru the card it's fake.

I love that we call it a missing pixel even though it was printed in a time when pixels, as we mean them today, didn't exist.

I'm surprised there are so many here who think it's a good fake (at least nobody thinks it's real) the fuzziness on the front especially of the lettering and tooling screams reproduction image, to me anyway.
