I also won the N162 Kelly.

I called--pennsylvania, where they ship from, and they sort of hedged as to whether they liked me or just didn't want 8.2K worth of junk dragging along the ground for a week. I pointed out that they sold stuff for 50 times that much...

I did sort of butter them up in my =(overnight express) payment. They forgot the shipping charges at first, and had to send a second bill. "Shucks, I thought you loved me," I said. Then on the second page, I said I'd plastered Moses Fleetwood Walker all over the Vintage Baseball card Forum, and some other things about the kelly.

I'd already said "special thanks to Kevin Struss and Tom Orr"--who were responisble for me getting the scan with the the true appearance of the photo.

But I never expected! I was lying on the bed, daydreaming about the stuff coming today, and it came!
