in which a PRO card was auctioned with a PSA card to be able to add PSA to the listing title, it seemed like a pretty weak transparent device. After seeing that the "highlight" card was in a PRO holder and some other lesser card was included in a PSA holder as part of the same auction, would anyone think to themselves, "Hey! Here's a dealer that's a straight shooter that I want to do business with!" If anyone WOULD feel that way, please buy this bag of magic beans I'm selling...

I personally don't understand the "5 foot 8" part of the first post in this thread, but it is getting on in the evening...

Too Funny, Brian. Yeah, they did trim the crap outta this one. Matty's virtually a dwarf. Too bad for the guy who was so tall and quite a presence in his day.

For those not familiar with Christy's true stats, he was 6'2" and 195#. Not a small fellow in his day. But, very soft spoken and pretty gentle in nature and character, unless you were unfortunate enough to be a batter facing one of his fadeaways. Matty still holds at least one MLB record, now almost 100 years old, that will probably never be broken...pretty damm cool.

...with retractions made to interfere? Fear factor? or is it that the auction isn't MINE?

We typically "go after" the cards when they are noticed, and when it is obvious that they are fake/altered cards.

How do we go after them?

By listing them here, hoping enough people see the comments that we bring out on the board. Isn't that obvious?

Or, are you saying that the entire board here is after you because three people bid and retracted on one of your auctions? More exaggeration and playing the victim? You've accused a lot of people here of doing something that you said only three (unknown) people did to you. Aren't you getting tired of the exaggerations yet?

We "go after" the fakes by posting them here and talking about them. You can whine about retractions, etc, all you want, but the vast majority of the people here didn't do that to you. However, if you or anyone else tries to auction a fake, misrepresented or altered card, you can bet it will be talked about here, just like we talk about LibertyForNobody, psa-crap-card, MediumRareRubbish, and the like. Fact of life. You even accused me of tampering with your auctions, now and in the future, and that is simply ridiculous...
