Default ELLIOT==the Smileys are gone again

Posted By: Julie Vognar

Dan mathewson e-mailed me, so I looked for them. When you click on your smiley cite in your "Smileys" post, yahoo says the page doesn't exist. Would you care, they ask, to try a search. I did. Nothing.

It's on about page 17, now. While looking through all the pages, I found my Birthday greetings, and noticed that your cake and candles had didsappeared--like a picture in an auction after the auction is over.

It thus occurred to me--do maintaining the Smileys cost money? I'm sure we would all like to contribute.

BRING BACK SMILEYS, please.

I thought this was a post about missing John Smiley cards,or even mickey welch, since it is a vintage site but i read it and it was more of the usual. see my post about relevant stuff in a different thread...........some useful info so this thread isnt a total waste,a great baseball name, john slappey who played for the 1920 a's wouldve been 104 today if he were still alive, died in the hometown of our very own scott forrest.how many people can say they actually heard of him,but try forgetting that name now

I already have a Yum Yum Micky Welch, and don't give a damn about Slappey. Who the hell are you to call Smileys a waste?

John Slappey lost his only decision in his career, pitched just 3 games and his career era was 7.11 (like the convience store) hope that helps Julie. take care,John
