Perhaps a rhetorical question, but my guess would be the next auction of this card won't have "REPRODUCTION" in capital letters, if at all.

Good point Max. The individuals who sell these "antiqued" reprints and disclose that they are reprints are just as guilty as the individual who purchases with the intent of re-selling as "possibly authentic". They are wholesale hustlers.

As mentioned in other threads multiple times, these types of ploys will only continue to increase in number as the market for card contimues to become more lucrative.

It makes no sense, considering that anyone looking at the listing could make a better looking reprint on his or her own computer printer. If it was a reprint (in better condition!) by Topps Chewing Gum, Fleer or Perez-Steele, then you might reasonably expect it will be a superior looking reprint than you could possibly make.

This is equivalent to offering on eBay for $5 a computer printout of the Net54 web page, when anyone can print out a copy of the Net54 web page for free.
