It has been brought up that perhaps the man he gave it to was posing as Goodwin, but was not actually him.
There is also the matter of the $20,000 for the list of former major league players and their contact info. Why would an auction house need or care about that? It is at least a possibility that Kranepool was the victim of a fraud perpetrated by someone claiming to be Goodwin. |
