Default Thoughts on grade?

Any chance it gets better than a 1?

That's what I thought before reading any comments.

Not real. The cracked/scale look of the back is the biggest tell for me.

I guess if it's a reprint you can have it graded as a "1" reprint!

Scott - FWIW the seller listed the card on three separate occasions. Each time the card sold and was re-listed soon after. His T205 Joss is just as bad.

I saw two listings and talked with seller, that's why I took the risk. It was relisted immediately, not after a time that would make me think someone got it in hand and then returned it. Plus his willingness to answer questions and while I had concerns, it's not like a fake Wagner where you're obviously never getting a real card so I took a shot. Obviously I'm protected as he called it Original.

Another red flag. Perfect centering. Good luck though.....this is the way we learn. I have unfortunately learned a lot through the years. I have a nice pile of learning lessons.

Like I said I wasn't 100% (I've never posted a card here before) but at least it's a mistake I won't have to live with. Still want to see it in hand, curious if the feel of the stock is obvious.

Wow, in hand it's not even close. The age on the back is actually printed on. Thanks for playing everyone.

Default On a related note.....

Can this card's grade be correct? I think this grading company usually does a pretty accurate job, but these corners, and crease... Does it still merit a 40?

Thoughts?

Grading standards never change...

...lol

Couldn't say it with a straight face.

I was looking at a T3 Crawford today that was a 4.5 and it MIGHT get a 2 now-a-days

That's what I thought when I got this one back. Done on-site. I was surprised, I was expecting a 30.

I actually purchased this card on eBay on december 9 for a decent price on a possible mis-listing, seller nscaler88 from parma, michigan.... the fake arrived, and is a horrible xerox copy. Didnt even look close. The paper stock screams 2015. I notified the seller, and he played dumb, told me to keep it. I sent it back anyways, he refunded me quickly. Guess i should of destroyed the example since he refunded me anyways. In good faith, i suggested he possibly just keep it and use as reference for any future purchases. Instead, he peddled it again. Im sorry to whoever purchased this card again.

he hasn't even answered the complaint so Ebay is going to have to step in.

So first he said his listing said no refunds. I pointed out that you can't lie in your listing and then say no refunds. Then he wanted me to send it back BEFORE he refunded me. I politely let him know that I had to pay before he shipped it to me and Ebay might be interested in finding out that he has sold this counterfeit repeatedly, knowing it's fake as I have been in touch with one of the other buyers. Now he tells me to keep it and he'll refund me in the morning. Love that it has to come to threats.
