Default A historic Net54baseball image

The incomparable Teddy Z and the most gracious and kind Wonkaticket (John M.) before their blockbuster T202 Deal at the recent Oaks show.

This is part of the reason shows are still the best. It seems as though, many times, being behind a keyboard can "de-humanize" otherwise very nice collectors. IN person our personalities can flourish.

Hey Johnny
I agree...everyone is a class act and even more so when in person . I didn't see all of the tables as I was too busy with the lines of folks at my table.....but I did manage these, and though they aren't really in my wheelhouse they are neat. The backs are printed correctly. The were together at one time, I guess. The seller said he rescued them from a trash can. True scraps...

Default Leon scraps

Leon,

Those are super kewl Imagine a Mantle?? That would be awesome!!
those are truly unique, and a very nice pick-up!!!! true one -of -a -kind cards, like i love, although not t206, but WOW, congrats....something very few own, or not at all........one man's trash is another man's treasure

....sad to say, but i have dreamed about picking thru the trash 100 years ago at one of the al factories...imagine a fantasy of dumpster diving!!

Hopefully i will get to meet you and the rest of the collectors....currently it's tough in my situation to attend shows, but i would really really love to....when the national comes to Atlantic City, i may be able to attend

anyway, beleive it or not, thru all the crap, i still love this hobby!!.... collectors like jim r , john m, art m, tim, you, brian w , erick summers, john drekker, mike healer, clayton, jamie....... there are so many great collectors, just to name a few, if not for them, id be out....

For example....i open the mail box a few weeks ago, and there is a t206 broadleaf 350 strang in there for me...now a fellow collector knows i love the scraps/freaks, but i also love the rarer backs, unfortunately i was busy w/ the freaks and didn't swing those at the time(rarer backed t206)....he knew i didn't have a bl 350 yet and decides to send me one no charge... now that's a true collector.....i won't mention any names, but i consider this guy one of the top experts on t206, especially rare backs, and a true friend... thanks a gain buddy!!...wish the whole hobby of collectors had your views

well enough of the mushy stuff...

PEACE

Johnny v

Crazy uncut sheets of 1952T's.....neat stuff.....nice find.

Here's my crazy 1949 LEAF Billy Johnson....this card has a normally printed back. I don't recall, do your 52T sheets

Default 52Ts

Yes, all of the '52 Topps have normally printed backs. I had got them and thought I would sell them but they have grown on me now so most likely will keep them. Although, I have sooooooo much stuff that isn't in my focus (whatever that is) that ya' never know. They aren't for sale right now. I like looking at them....
