Picked up some really nice Topps 74,75,76 thinking about submitting --question would PSA be the way to go, or SGC to flip--thanks, Tom

Good morning Tom-

Glad to read you picked up some nice cards. The 74s are officially 50 years
old! My first year of pack buying was 76 and I own some beauties myself

Since you put the question, I'll give an answer- SGC all the way. SGC is:

1) More consistent in the actual assignment of grades

2) Faster to return the cards

3) Cheaper

4) Aesthetically more pleasing in terms of slab

I have little doubt someone(s) will pop on this thread and insist "PSA gets
higher prices when you sell". The problems with that comment are
twofold. First, you didn't indicate an interest to sell. Second, that idea
presumes that PSA actually get the grade right in the first place (something
I wouldn't bet a quarter on).

Good luck and enjoy! Trent King

It really depends on the cards but usually PSA will bring you the most cash. With PSA great things can happen with one of their many monkey spinning a wheel graders. They have been extremely kind to me on my last 4 submissions.

I think PSA for cards from that era since you plan of flipping them.

Tom- my apologies, I must have glossed over the phrase "to flip" at the end
of your opening post. Given that information, then yes PSA tends to get
higher prices from that era of cards- IF they manage to get the grades right.
Good luck.
