Does look like it just came out of the freezer and someone had forgotten to zip the ziplock.

As a vegetarian, I admit that I've probably fried up and eaten worse.

Everyone wants a t206 Wagner. So a crook makes money off the original beat-up fake. The next owner is fairly certain it's fake, but he's still caught up in the dream of selling a Wagner. Eventually he comes to his senses and realizes it's not real, so he screws the next dreamer in line, and so on and so on.

This guy is just one more loser in the line in my opinion. The only good thing about this stuff is that a real collector will never purchase it, but will still get entertained. Enjoy the show folks.

There's no need to address this auction further, as this card was obviously a total joke ... but, considering the seller had a $1 minimum with no reserve and didn't even pay the $19 or whatever to make it a featured auction, he was well aware that it was not authentic.

I will bet you that the seller was had, and that the 'Binion provenance' was the story that was used to dupe him into originally buying the card.

Alas, as I'm sure most people on this board are well aware, there are more good stories in existence than there are 1988 Fleer. If there were really as many grandpas as are detailed in all all the eBay 'attic find' stories, we'd have the population of China.
