Default jeff

that one is surely a beauty.
i'm always amazed at how old cy looks in those early years of the 20th century, while still pitching quite a fastball.

happy 144th cy young!

best,
barry

Jeff, Nice one. Here he is in a less common batting pose (E93).

Default Happy B day Cy

Here is one I have that is still raw...bought it for $200 at a National, approximately 8-10 yrs ago. I wasn't going to buy it, spoke to a board member on the phone, and he said to go buy it. It took me a while to find the table again but here he is...except for the small upper crease, she's (the card) a beaut!!

I always thought that E92 Dockman was Irv too but I don't know anymore. It looks like he is throwing right handed and Irv 'er, I mean Cy, is throwing left handed on this E97? Same looking profile, I admit. regards

Pitched in the first World Series (1903) and won 2 games.
Pitched against superstars Cap Anson and Eddie Collins
Threw the first perfect game of 20th century (at least I think so)

Happy B-day Cy

That was funny.

Although there are better e107s on the board, I'll post mine.
