How are the people at pro grading about slabbing fakes/can they tell the difference? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I appreciate your sacrifices for science . Also , given your exceptional trimming skills , there are a few cards I'd like to send you . Just kidding , of course .

I'd like to take credit for this great article, but credit goes to fellow board member Bruce Moreland.

John thanks for the link. I can see they don't adhere to the best grading standards. There is a card in a pro holder(1939 Playball) that I am interested in. I don't care about the grade. My only concern is if it is the real deal.

Run far, far away. Don't let greed or desire lure you into buying anything in a PRO holder unless you just don't care it is trimmed or altered.
