Default Does this PSA 8 Henderson rookie look like a PSA 8?

I recently picked this up on Ebay. On the auction scan, and even in the PSA official scan, the mark above the "CK" in his name isn't very prominent, but still somewhat visible. But in real life, however, it's very prominent.

Should I make a case with PSA here? How can this be an 8? Or was this actually properly graded?

Thank you!

This is the memorabilia section. You might get more responses on the card side.
I am personally not a big graded card guy, but that being said, I would definitely open a case on it. A mark on the face of the card would be less than an 8 or, if it was a printing mark, perhaps a 8(mk). Both of which are less valuable than an 8.
My 2c.

A good seller would disclose the condition of the card itself.... not just an arbitrary number issued by some overworked minimum wage earning person with no more skill than you or I. When you put all your faith in these TPGs, you set yourself up for disappointment.

That said.... You are right. There's no way that card is an "8" under the standards they've supposedly set. I would raise a stink if you feel it's worth your time.

If the PSA “experts” say it’s an 8, it’s an 8! End of story.
