Congrats on finishing the sub-set. I've been thinking about trying to complete this one also. Any insights you would like to share would be appreciated (which ones are easy and which ones are tough).

A humble request please. Can someone show a scan of the back? When I collected, back in the day, I did't recall this variation.

I'm looking for two of these backs for my set, Ritchey and Bates.

How hard are they to find and how much premium if any could I expect to pay?

Although there are only 35 cards to this Sweet Caporal series , they are by no means easy to find. Some cards
seem to be tougher than others. The HOFer's....Bresnahan, G. Davis, Johnson, Lajoie, Marquard and Mathewson
are not as tough as others. But, that is to be expected since they are major stars (which are usually more avail-
able).
Having said that, I did find Griffith to be a lot tougher.

It was my experience that the following cards in this series were tougher to find; but, I'm not sure why......

Bates
Bransfield
Griffith (portrait)
Lake (New York)
McIntyre (Brooklyn))
Nicholls (hands on knees)
O'Leary (portrait)
Ritchey
Schlei (catching)
Schmidt (throwing)
Spencer
Wagner (bat on left)

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Thanks for refreshing my mind regarding this list. It's my own list, I posted 5 months ago. It's time to hang it up, guys....
I'm getting too old.

Incidently, I would add these two to this list......

T206-19......AMERICAN BEAUTY (no frame)

And, for those who feel strongly about this Subject

"T206-20".....Ty Cobb with Ty Cobb back

Hi Ted,
Congrats.... I put that set together several years ago with the help of Scott Elkins. I think it was 2002 or 2003, but both of us put a set together.
Be well Brian

PS Hi Ted... too bad the number is 35 instead of 36 or it would really start your sheet discussion going...

PS 2 As you know this set is important when trying to find out "possible backs"...

Thanks for responding......I was certain that you had a complete SWEET CAP 150 Factory 649 (ovpt) set.

Which of these cards did you find tougher (if any) ?

Although.....the Johnson was my last card, I thought his card was more available than some of the others.
He was last for me, simply because I was waiting for an affordable one.

These 35 subjects could have still been printed on a 36-card sheet with one double-printed. My candidate
for the double-printed card is Johnson. Star cards are usually the ones double-printed.

Best regards,

TED Z

the Matty white cap could have also been the double ptint. there are several hof cards in this set but Johnson or Matty are most likely the double print if they were on sheets of 36.
