This card just sold for $2750 w/o BP.

Agreed. AH was MidHudson. To be fair, the AH estimate for the card was low, so that should have been a warning sign. Funny thing is that if you look at one of Net54's archived links on how to spot fake Ruths, the card has many elements of an authentic m101-4, so that may have confused the buyer. But then again, I've seen cards like this (with the same black dot) on ebay listed as a reprint.

Cards with the same black dot are usually a red flag. Whomever bought it might learn the hard way.
