Default PWCC at the National?

Did they have the balls to show up? No pun intended.

Conserved assets and tenets. Maybe the Wizard of Os(z)wego himself will be there.

I'd dismantle every Mantle
Recolor every Play Ball
Trim each and every Leaf

With the cards I'm conservin'
I'd be even more unnervin'
If I only had some bleach.

Move over, Burkett.

I guess it just referenced Baseballs in general, being it's the National... Richard will have to clarify.

Sorry- I thought you were asking about the Wizard of Ozwego moniker.

Given attendance numbers at the National, do most attendees care or know what PWCC has been up to? Does the National care since their stake is to sell as many tables at the highest rate possible? The people that care the most are likely in the minority.

Wizards aside.

I still get a thrill up my leg when listening to Betsy’s rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted To You” in new show “Fleece” introducing Gary Moser actually singing “You’re The One That I Want” and “I Can’t Give You Anything But Bleach, Babe” to a Goudey baseball card, with Julie Andrews in a vocal cameo appearance singing “Trim Trimmany”.

I also understand that PSA is countering with their own stage production directed by J. Orlando featuring Harrison Ford in “The Graders of the Lost Ark” based on a true story of greed and lust.

The word on the street though should be disappointing for Brent and Joe though as neither has been nominated for a lifetime achievement award.

“Singing In The Rain” was low hanging fruit, but “Soak Gets In Their Eyes” was considered.

Balls = Baseballs

So are they there at the national? PWCC was a no show at the Long Beach coin expo because of the scandal. I sure wouldn't be nice walking by their booths.

I fear that those who are hopelessly devoted to Brent will be in the majority.

The scanner on entry to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is 83% effective in detecting and preventing entry of pitchforks as well

But wouldn't it be cool if PWCC had one of those vacuum tube things so that you could deposit your assets directly into the Vault from Chicago?

Wow. Of course I'll need a fee if you decide to do it.

New math, Glenn. The folks you are speaking of are in the second 100%.

When I went I cared about the cards, money, and meeting up with friends, fellow collectors, and hobby acquaintances. I'm quite certain I wasn't the only one. The same would have held true had I been able to attend this year.

+1 These are pretty much the only reasons I am going. I don't expect to find anything to buy but I will look and try. Actually, the cards are the least reason I am going. It's about seeing old friends and hanging out and having some fun in the hobby like I used to.
As for PWCC being there, they might be. Not a big deal to me. I hope this whole debacle gets taken care of eventually. There does need to be some punitive punishment somewhere imo. Time to show a new pick up from the BST....and duly noted in this month's pickups too.

Brent has been on the floor both days so far at the PWCC booth.

I spoke to several dealers, no one mentioned the scandal. Though some guys on the flight was mentioning it on the modern side.

SO PSA was right...its only a small minority of complainers.

Someone posted a picture on Twitter of their corporate booth. It looks a little sparse if you ask me.

Check out the vault. I was expecting something else.

It was a rather “out of the way” location, and was not at all crowded by any means.

The booth was indeed sparse, but most of the cards on display in the “vault” were killers (Black Swamp, etc.). Seemed like everything was kept very low key, with no signs whatsoever of complaints, protest or turmoil. You’d never suspect any scandal or legal matters were brewing.

I really wish I was there. I'd have hundreds of reprints of the Washington post article that would get conveniently left all over the place. Not just the convention floor, but hotels, restaurants etc.

That's a terrible looking setup, but I give her credit for showing up with all that's going on.

The whole Wizard of Oz cast is fine but leave PSA out
of it they simply assess the card given to them they
can not know what it looked like yesterday !!

Like Brent, Mosher and whoever else could even make it

could get ALL of Mosher's profits and it would be a
drop in the bucket for them?
Why dont Casinos use loaded dice or a stacked deck?
