Default 1930's Mickey Cochrane E/F - unc ID?

Posted By: leon

Speaking of transactions with board members I got this from a valued one a day or two ago. Any idea's on what it is? It measures 5 x 7 and I made the scan at 75%. Sort of looks like a large W517 but not quite. In the title I said "E/F" because it advertise's "Ice Cream Confectionery" and then says "Box Candies A Specialty" so it's sort of "f" and sort of "e"... regards

This is a 1930 W554. I believe that I've seen this stamp on other W554's, but the backs are supposed to be blank.

I am just getting into some "W" series and am still learning the ropes. Plus it seems as "w"'s have about the most wide range of diversity of any series. regards

Yes it's a W554. I enjoy collecting them. It's only an 18 card set, & loaded with HOFers. Also, I have a W554 variation with no name & team on the bottom, & it's a slightly thinner card stock.
