Default Williams -My Favorite Players

I know My Favorite Players was a "partner" of Score Board when they started selling on TV shopping. I heard that it was 50-50 that what they were supplying was good. But, after not seeing many like this for quite a while, there have been TWO in TWO days! One here in FL at a local, and one online today in AZ. Are the bad guys trying an end around? Take a look.

My favorite players was NEVER a partner of the Score Board inc.
My favorite players NEVER supplied autographs to the Score Board inc.
My Favorite players was a vendor of framing services for SB from approximately 1989-90 until SB purchased their own company California Gold and moved it on site to have better control of the product and better pricing.
Score Board inc sued My Favorite Players in the past for selling forged autographs of players The Score Board inc had under contract, and the owners of My Favorite Players signed a consent decree that they NEVER would sell autographs again of many athletes the score board had under contract, including Mickey Mantle, Ted WIlliams, Joe Dimaggio, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Wayne Gretzky, etc.
It has been brought to my attention in the past that the former owners of MFP claimed they 'won a lawsuit against SB and were given millions of $$ in inventory' Not only is this completely false, but since SB was a publicly held company if there was a shred of truth to it , it would have been part of financial statements (public record) and was not.
I will also say that in the past there have been numerous attempts by individuals and companies to counterfeit SB certs. unfortunately, many were successful in making good copies as the product was distributed prior to the advent of holograms, dna marking, etc.
I would say buyer beware, and out of respect to this community, I offer my services to answer any questions you have about merchandise in PM, and will also look at items for you in PM as long as i do not get overwhelmed.

That is AWESOME info, Ken! Can I (we) use this info as ammunition to have items removed?

Thanks for explaining Ken....*(you never have to worry about a name issue since you put yours out here...thank you for that)

If anyone wants to give opinions going forward, or debate in this thread, your full name will need to be in your post. You can put a period in your last name to prevent it from showing in searches if you want to. Thanks

Ken, I guess you agree that the Williams is not authentic. I know the person made a mistake by calling it a Joe D but I am sure he wanted to know if it was real or not.

I will just say that if this is a 'my favorite player' autographed item, it is being sold in violation of a federal court consent decree, and will let the experts on here comment on whether they think it is bad.
it certainly did not come from a Score Board signing. Score Board did not have a SINGLE (not one) 3x5 card signed in any of their agremeents with Ted Williams.
Maybe Ted signed it after he died??

Hi Ken. Nice to have you here. Ken and I communicate every so often.

Evidently, based on what we have seen over the past few years, Mantle, DiMaggio and Williams, continued to sign years after they passed away.

Arrrrgh! Usually I am the only one who gets the joke. I fixed the title, a little late but, hey....

Chris, I think SCD is fine. They say "Scoreboard" NOT "Score Board". C'mon now, who could be deceived by that???

great to have you resurface after all these years Ken and put an explanation out there for all of the fakes that bare the name MY FAVORITE FORGERIES and "it's Not fun to stay" at the YMCSPORTS, where EVERYTHING and I mean everything is a forgery.

Yes, Tony P. once told me that fish tale too...."It was I, who sued Scoreboard and won"....that he was with J.C Penny, blah balh blah..... Whatever the F, that means...Everything associated with that guy that I can see, has been an out & out FORGERY, Hence the well earned name, MY FAVORITE FORGERIES....are you out there Tony P.?????
