The Babe Ruth 5” x 7” colour study portrait by Graig Kreindler went for $7500.00

Demand exceeds supply for Graig’s work

As usual, Chris, I think I cost you a few extra bucks. This time on the amazing Jimmy Collins Cab. I got shut out once again.

Paul - did I read that right? The Waddell M101 sold for over $8k??? Holy sh*t! I should probably sell mine, but then I’d be left with an even bigger hole in my collection. Wow!

And Ryan- fantastic Ciudad Trujillo piece. Nice to see you branching I into the negro leagues with iconic players like Gibson and Paige!

Nice pick ups everyone, as usual, I was the bridesmaid on many but never the bride. Story of my life lately.

Very nice 1911 GCA photo. I'm very surprised to see that PSA included the "Rookie" designation on the flip, I don't recall ever seeing them do that before. Has anyone else or maybe I'm just not up on that stuff any more?

Gorgeous pickups. Jim's Ruth photo and Jeff's Felix Joe Jackson are museum pieces for sure. Many other incredible cards and items here. Congrats to all.

I added a couple 1917s during the undercard while you main eventers were slugging it out.

Nice pick ups Jim, I used to own that Marsans, had my eye on that Hooper, both great additions.

Thanks, Phil. I love the Hooper pose. This Marsans of yours will be well loved.

The substantial size (20.5” X 23.5”) may have also been a factor in limiting bidders? I’m thrilled to win it as I’ve been the under bidder on in two other auctions.
Hey Mike, congrats! Great piece for your collection.

Remember that tie you found for me at the National this year? I was able to pickup a rack for it.

I also grabbed this N172 Adonis Terry.

My one pickup. But it’s the end of a journey to finishing the set…
