In 1977 I made a trade with Barry Halper which involved a number of
items including an advertising post card sized flyer promoting
Fleischamann Bread Baseball pictures.


It has photos of two star players and says:

Base Ball To-Day!

A photo of your Favorite
BALL PLAYER
With each wrapped leaf of

Fleischmann
General and Butter-Krust
Breads

START YOUR COLLECTION NOW


In the trade I received a near mint (with tabs) Fleishman card of
Oliver O'Mara- Brooklyn National Short Stop.


Any ideas about the advertising piece or what the two pieces together
are worth.?

I have the 2005 standard cat. of baseball cards (krause pub), O'mara is a "common" and books for $225 in NM without the coupon. With coupon is 6x that price or 1350. However, I highly doubt you could get half of that price unless it was graded. SGC will grade them with the coupon on it, but not without. In EX cond. it books at about half of that 110x6 with coupon. So, if you wanted to sell it i'd get it graded with the coupon or you won't get as much.

As for the advertising piece, i have no idea what its worth. Not in any guides that i know about , id say its anyone's guess how much its worth. I'd like to see what it looks like, if you could post a scan or send one to yanksrnice09@yahoo.com

I'd be interested in buying the ad card, it would be a nice addition to my near set. Let me know what you want to do.

Nice pick up, that's a substantial lot of them with the tabs. wouldn't mind seeing scans of them if you wanted. Not that i need any as you said. thanks for response, if you see any i need let know!

Still need those original 7 i posted, any condition.
Also Would like an upgrade for my C. Babe adams (mines torn), and would take an extra H. Jennings and a F. Toney for a friend and variations, (knetzer, Konetchy pictures)...

Even if you have none of these and are looking to part with one.. I might be interested for an upgrade if you can send a scan.
