Beg, Borrow and Steal?
It's been brought up before how Tug McGraw grabbed John 'The Hammer' Milner's huge glove for the woodsy shot on his 1973 card...
s-l1600-2.jpg But, I just realized Lou Brock is guilty of theft, too. In between stealing bases, it's pretty obvious he also swiped Ernie Bank's batting helmet (because that's a 14, not a 24) for his 1964 card... s-l1600.jpg Anyone else have examples of players sponging off others?

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow. Last edited by JollyElm; 07-16-2019 at 06:30 PM. |
