Default 1950 Royal Desserts find (17 different)

Rummaging through my father's collection again today I came across these. Took me quite awhile to figure out what they are.

Apparently these are only half (or less) of a card. If I'm not mistaken they are 1950 Royal Desserts cards that were on the backs of boxes found at the supermarket.

Cool. They all look like caricatures by Drew Friedman.

GREAT collection!

Stan Rojek (second row, far right) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers (among other teams) in the late 1940s. He had the impossible job as a middle infielder, (all glove, no hit) of trying to crack the Dodgers line-up.

After he retired, he became my neighbor and ran a bowling alley that we would frequent as teen-agers in the late 1970s - 1980s. I remember wearing his Brooklyn Dodgers jersey and swinging his Black WS bat. (I wished I had thought to buy them....sigh!)

I would love to add his card to my collection if you would ever consider parting with it...
