Default Unknown Tin Type Baseball Player

Seller claims to have more. Will add pics as they become available. Any clues??

It is a cool image but lacks any equipment. Baseball tintypes are available but not common. Most are unidentifiable but it is always good to do as much research as possible. Pricing depends on a lot of factors but I would guess the one you picture could be worth around 100-150. It might go for a lot more if a few people really like it. These can be difficult to value. I have overpaid for a couple of mine because I really like them. I hope you get it or other early images for your collection.

Without any baseball equipment there is a leap of faith. I almost never buy tintypes that don't have baseball accessories in them. Too many train conductors etc...that looked like baseball.

Thank you both for the feedback. Seller claimed to have others but they are not Baseball related. And the $500 asking price is outrageous.
