Default PSA screw-up in Goodwin

PSA messed up because this is George Wood and not Pete. But my problem is also with Goodwin who auctioned this card because they did not catch it either. Maybe because it is not a real significant card or something but you would think there would be better attention to detail. Maybe I am just a stickler and take things to serious for my website

Did you let them know before the auction ended?

I am sure if there is/was a material mistake Bill G. will fix it. I still scratch my head at some of the results he gets but I am sure he will take care of any issue like this. I am sure he didn't realize it up front or he would have handled it already....best regards

I did not know this until the auction was over entering the results and that is when I discovered it

My guess is that very few people would catch the error. Bill did a great job and deserves praise, not complaints.

I don't think that there's much of a price difference between Pete or George. I wouldn't blame Goodwin for this, I'd blame PSA because it was PSA who made the error on the label. Now if they marked a McCarthy (Tom or John) or O'Rourke (Jim or Tom) incorrectly then that would have been a really big deal but I'm sure someone would have been right on top of that type of error.

This was brought to the auction house's attention but I figure they were just a little to busy to correct it.
