#220-No longer jealous of Jim. Now, if only I could obtain his half-brother's signature. Big thank you to Jim and Tom for working on obtaining this unique signature.

Default Foster

How many Foster signatures were in the Bible? It looks like 2 were posted and one where he siged his son and wifes name and then there is still another on the title page. Is that all?

Yes, that is all, for now.

Picked this up today, and there is a story behind it. In the early 90s my friend and I used to write to players, like many people did, for autographs. When we started we never includes a SASE with our request. My friend received his 3x5 back from Doug Harvey with a personal note saying it is his "pleasure but anytime you ask someone for an autograph, always include a self-addressed stamped envelope. most people will just throw your letter away, if one is not included" signed Doug Harvey also. Needles to say after this we included SASE.

So my buddy found an old box of autos in his mom's basement, and new I liked this and gave it to me, so 20 years later it is now in my collection.

1928 Olympic Development Track Meet program signed on the front cover by Charley Paddock. Paddock won two gold medals at the 1920 Olympics - 100m and 4x100m relay. He won a silver medal in the 200m at the 1920 and 1924 Olympics. He finished 5th in the "Chariots of Fire' race in 1924 and was portrayed in the movie by Dennis Christopher.

He served as a Lt. in the artillery in WWI. He enlisted in the Marines in WWII and was killed in a plane crash in Sitka, Alaska in 1943 along with Major General William P. Upshur. He was on Upshurs' staff.

Found this on ebay with no mention of the signature. Listed just as a track meet program.

Got the card in the mail today to put this display together for a friend. The card is going to get cracked out of the slab so the cover will fit over the display.

Default George Sisler

Got this one in the mail today... The first Sisler playing days AP that I have ever seen so I had to grab it... Signature is an absorb monster and is dated 1921 in the original owners hand... It amazes me to think that sisler signed this album for a fan during the middle of his 3 best seasons...

Being a collector of both Japanese and HOF, I purchased this after Jim Stinson gave it a thumbs up.

Picked this up about a week ago and had it framed. Nothing big, but adding to my HOF autograph collection (photo a little blurry, dang iPad)
