Default Mastro Partner(s) and/or interest in specific cards within lots

Posted By: Cat

I am interested in a partner or partners for the Collins-McCarthy set in the Mastro auction. This lot ends Friday. I am presently the underbidder, but will not bid again unless I have a partner.

I am really only interested in the Heilmann (SGC 40) and Hornsby (SGC 30) cards. The Cobb, Johnson and Cicotte cards are beautiful. The Ruth is very very nice as well. Mastro had this lot at the National and I spent significant time viewing them. The SGC 40 Heilmann was gorgeous and unbelievable that it was graded a 40. Many other cards were conservatively graded as well. Some of the lower grade cards are graded as such because of centering issues but were otherwise very sharp.

If you would like references I have bought several high end cards from Leon, Quan, Brian McQueen, Ryan Christoff and others.

Please e-mail me if you are interested.

Thanks

Edited the title to include a wider range of partnerships since I am sure Leon doesn't want a bunch of these and I did have interest in posting within this thread about a lot which was not the Collins-McCarthy set.

As a side note, since the Collins-McCarthy set received two more bids this morning a few of us that were interested in that set have decided not to pursue it.

Thanks for your e-mails anyway.

I would be interested in a few of the cards in the lot if the winning bidder decides to break it up.

I would be interested in the Lefty Grove cards from the following lots:

(1) Lot #1319 of 1933 George C. Millers
(2) Lot #2230 of 1933 Butter Creams (but only if Lefty's card is a Sept 1 back)

I would be interested in the two golf cards in the 1932 R328 U.S. Caramel SGC-Graded Complete Set (31) - Lot 2227. The #03 B. Jones SGC 60 and #09 G. Sarazen SGC 40 cards. I can be contacted at wilkins2345@yahoo.com, if any one is interested in the rest of the lot.
Thanks,

I am not able to check the site at work because it is blocked. I have not gotten any e-mails such as being outbid or winning so I assume that bidding is still taking place.

I won Lot 2160(212 misc 19th and 20th century cards) and much of the material is available for trade or sale. If you have an interest in anything in particular please email me at oldjudge@gmail.com with a bid or a trade idea. I may take a few days to respond so please be patient.

Thanks---Jay

If the winner of the high-grade E93 lot is interested in selling or trading for some of those, I am interested.
