Default does anyone actually read the idiotic pop-ups?

Posted By: warshawlaw

I don't know about you all, but when I see the pop-up screen forming, I click the "X" while it is still a blank screen. You'd think they would get the idea by now that this form of advertising is TOTALLY WORTHLESS. Plus, the crap crashes AOL a good portion of the time.

I keep an eye on my desktop toolbar (down at the bottom) and whenever I see a tab magically appear ..... I feel like I'm practicing to be a gunslinger in the old west ... I quickly "right-click" on the tab and hit "Close" before the damn window has a chance to clog up my screen; looks like I've been missing out on some beauties though.
