Default SportsCardLink Spring Auction Open for Bidding!

Just a quick note to all Net54 users that the new auction at www.sportscardlink.com is now open for your review.

For Pre-War, there is a decent selection of T cards, some tough Worch Cigar cards and some odds and ends, including a very nice T206 Hindu back Johnny Evers card. Please email me at cporter@sportscardlink.com if I can help in any way.

Thanks

Chris

Default Bidding

Why is providing require credit information a pre-requisite to bidding?

Sorry about that KenKen - nothing personal. It's an effort on our part to verify registrants as legitimate bidders with full intentions to pay for any auction winnings.

Default auction references

When I first started bidding in auction houses in the late 90's and they asked for a "hobby reference", I used to always put "Lew Lipset". Actually, I did not have any hobby references, but I had bought a couple of cards from him on ebay. I figured no one would call him and ask "Who is this guy?" and as far as I know they never did.

Good luck with the auction. Some nice stuff in there.

Default SportsCardLink Auction Ends tonight!

Hey Net 54 -

Just a quick reminder that bidding for the Spring SportsCardLink auction ends TONIGHT, starting at 8 pm. The auction lots end ebay style, with each lot having it's own ending time, and no "extended bidding session."

So, if you would like to take a moment and stop obsessing about just who your favorite NFL team is going to draft tonight, please check it out at www.sportscardlink.com!

Best Regards,

Chris Porter

I'm in. I like the defined ending times--could bring out the snipe skills.
