Default What did York Caramel cards come in?

Posted By: Douglas

Curious if they were packaged in with the candy, or another way? Would they have been put in something like this? Thanks.

Default that box

That box is a possibility for the York cards to have come in but I am not sure it's ever been definitively found (though it might have been). I love to collect the old packaging and stuff surrounding the mfg'ers who put out the cards. regards

I have been looking for similar packaging for a York display I'm designing. I believe the box pictured would not have contained the York Caramel E210s because the initials PCW on the bottom right are an abbreviation for PC Wiest Company which was actually owned by American Caramel while The York Caramel Company was a competitor who exists as Classic Caramel today. If anyone has any further information on this, it'd be greatly appreciated. My dad still lives in York and is an auction goer. I have him on the lookout for any York Caramel Company swag.

Here is a box I have laying around somewhere. I am sort of a board ball hog as I collect all kinds of crap....much of it no one cares about but I still enjoy it...
